Hose Buddy Systems was the brainchild of a single sleep apnea patient, Charlie Gholson. Although the CPAP machine was successfully able to relieve his symptoms, Charlie still endured nights of restless sleep due to the frustration caused by tangled hoses.
This discomfort led Charlie to design his own solution, a CPAP hose management system which held the hose in a comfortable upright position, away from his neck and shoulders. This allowed the Charlie’s head to move freely while asleep – and eliminated the possibility of waking up with a hose wrapped around his neck.
Today, Charlie’s idea has evolved into Hose Buddy Systems, LLC, an American company that employs American workers and uses American steel to create devices that enhance the comfort of thousands of CPAP users. Charlie still uses and tests his own designs and helps Hose Buddy provide great customer support – a combination that has created an unbeatable product.
